The quaint heritage garden village of Mount Wilson, in the UNESCO listed Blue Mountains World Heritage National Park, was settled by the well-heeled society in Sydney as their summer retreat in the 1870's.
Dennarque Estate is situated on the highest point in the Village. The original sandstone house, Dennarque was built in 1879 by former Aide-de-Camp to the Governor, Commissioner for Crown Lands and Clerk of the Executive Council, Edward Merewether, who lived there with his wife Augusta and 10 children.
Today, Dennarque Estate is available to those who wish to experience a new level of luxury as a weekend getaway or as a boutique wedding venue for up to 80 guests.
Dennarque Estate proudly supports the FSHD Global Research Foundation as it's charity of choice.
